William Morris Gallery Collection Deep Green Blackthorn Smooth Wallpaper
Catalogue previewOnline ordering is coming soon. You can explore product details and specifications while we prepare the store.
Designed in 1892, Blackthorn was originally block-printed and features white blackthorn (or sloe) blossom and violets with meadow flowers of red snakes head fritillaries and yellow daisies. The flowers bloom from a lattice of curling foliage, leaves, and stems in this iconic Morris pattern. Typical of Morris’ work, Blackthorn is a celebration of the beauty of nature. Blackthorn Deep Green features both mustard and pastel yellow, alongside multi-tonal green vines, accented by pops of pink, all laid upon a deep green backdrop. This wallpaper comes in a matt finish for a luxurious look and feel.
